My mission is to help people struggling with a chronic health condition to claim back their health by using lifestyle and nutrition as medicine.

Hey there! I am Olivia, and I am a certified Health & Wellness Coach based in Amsterdam. I am French, and I work with English and French-speaking clients.

I am passionate about helping others attain better health, so they feel the energy to achieve what matters the most to them in their lives.

I bring a holistic approach to my work. Symptoms are but a starting point. I go beyond them and look at the root cause of the dis-ease that is unique to each individual. I consider each of my clients’ specific context and identify the roadblocks on their way to balanced health.

I draw my knowledge from the years I have spent studying nutrition and functional medicine with the School of Applied Functional Medicine™ (SAFM) and the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA). This is how I have become a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach.

I have also trained in stress management and I am a HeartMath Certified Practitioner. The HeartMath method is scientifically proven to help the hormonal system, immune system and nervous system function optimally. I can teach self-regulation techniques to reduce anxiety and build resilience quickly. The techniques are based on the state of coherence between the heart and brain. A coherence state improves sleep, anxiety, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, mental health as well as physical performances.

I believe that long-term health improvement is about educating and motivating people, so they are empowered to take charge of their health.

How I became a Health & Wellness Coach

My path to health & wellness coaching started with my health. Suffering from chronic diseases myself, I grew increasingly frustrated with their impact on my life. I decided to take action and do my own research.

My scientific background profoundly influenced my approach. I indeed hold a Master’s degree in chemistry, and I have worked for years in research and development. So in order to regain my health, I reviewed studies and scientific evidence. I had the necessary knowledge to understand them and to know how to use them. Today still, my advice is backed up by scientific data.

During my research, as I understood more and more about the importance of nutrition and healthy habits, I tested my findings on myself. The results were enlightening! As I regained ownership of my health, I started advising and helping people around me.  I soon realized I wanted to open a new chapter in my life and professionally help other people to get functional medicine’s benefits.

I am now practicing as a Health and Wellness Coach in Amsterdam, and my clients live in the Netherlands, France, and all over the world. I love working within this international community!

What coaching you means to me

My coaching is more than sharing knowledge. I guide my clients on their path to recovery.

My approach has five main characteristics:

1. Deep listening: my goal is to help you get to the root cause of your dis-ease, and that means getting a clear picture of who you are. Genuinely listening to you and your needs is an essential step in that process.

2. Empathy: this goes hand in hand with listening. I understand what you are going through, and you never have to fear being judged. Our relationship is based on trust.

3. Education: I give you the information you need to better understand what is ailing you and what you can do.

4. Empowerment: we focus on what is strong instead of what is wrong.

5. Motivation: I am here to help you make sustainable health changes when change is hard.
